ABOUT THE JOB:

As Product Owner, you’ll own a product vision and roadmap and contribute to the wider platform vision and roadmap, as well as frequently working with customers, stakeholders, teams or users, keeping them up to date and getting their feedback to help us shape the future of our business.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

    • Main POC for all OPS integrations including:

      • Direct PMS integrations like Oracle, Stay n Touch, RMS, Mews etc.

      • PMS integrations with third party apps like Comtrol, Jazzware etc.

      • Third party integrations with our Integration API e.g.:

        1. Room Automation Systems

        2. Guest Apps

        3. Facility Management Systems

      • Other integration like staff safety solution like react mobile, survey solutions like Medallia 

    • Work with Support team on troubleshooting, resolving interface related queries

    • Work with Tech Activation team on interface set up related queries

    • Work with Infrastructure team to define the monitoring metrics of the key cloud components and interfaces.

    • Work with Sales team in evaluating new integration requests

    • Work with Clients/Integration Partners to build/support integrations

      • Build new integrations

      • Manage existing integrations

    • Review Support tickets and prioritize bugs in Development sprints

    • Manage/update all documentation related to Integrations

    • Manage development sprints for integrations

    • Create tickets for all integrations related development work

    • Communicate updates on integrations with all the stakeholders on a regular basis.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

      • Thorough understanding of key PMS data sets used in Unifocus Operations’ products

      • Understanding of all Ops integration APIs, architecture and data flow for both on-prem and cloud deployments

      • Understanding of all the major components used in the integrations including PMS Data Processor (PDP), Standard PMS Service (SPS), Room Automation Service, Room Automation Data Processors, and Data Synchronizers (DS).

      • Working understanding of API mechanisms (e.g. REST, JSON, SOAP XML etc.) and communication mechanisms like polling, websocket, webhook etc.

      • Working knowledge of hardware, software, networking concepts

      • Understanding of onsite/cloud architecture

      • Experience in writing user stories, doing mock-ups and network/architecture diagrams

      • Experience with SDLC concepts and agile software development including Sprint model

      • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Balsamiq etc.
