Published in Hotel Online - July 6, 2016. UniFocus, the Dallas-based provider of the service industry’s most comprehensive workforce management systems and tools, announces the engagement of a new CISO function, to be headed by cyber-security expert Patrick Glennon. The CISO function will take UniFocus’ already intense focus on information security to the next level, ensuring ongoing upgrades and innovations that will keep internal and customer data inviolate. It will also spearhead the expansion of colocation and cloud facilities for UniFocus in the U.S. and abroad.

“UniFocus is committed to working with the best resources in the business to protect the confidentiality of our clients and integrity of our data. We have benefited from Patrick’s expertise before and are confident that with his excellent counsel now, we’ll continue to stay ahead of the curve, particularly as we upgrade and expand our data centers worldwide,” said UniFocus founding partner and CEO Mark Heymann.

Prior to his current engagement with UniFocus, Glennon spent eight years as a vice president and technology director in JP Morgan’s Consumer and Internet Banking division. There he oversaw a portfolio of applications and program, all in a highly complex security and regulatory environment. These included a flagship reporting and business intelligence platform and applications in fund accounting, fund performance analytics, and mandate compliance, both in the U.S. and in Australia.

Glennon has held vice president, C-level, and consulting roles in application, infrastructure, data forensics, and program management, and has been an expert witness in federal arbitration and litigation scenarios. He served as chief technology officer for UniFocus from 2002-2005.
