Dallas, September 20, 2012 – UniFocus is pleased to announce that it has expanded its training program to include a variety of courses in its state-of-the-art facility located at the company’s headquarters in Dallas (Carrollton), Texas.
“One of the major benefits that will be taken away from the Leadership Skills training, which will be our first class, is building more effective interpersonal relationships with employees. This will actually lead to improved performance at both the managerial and employee levels, which will in turn increase productivity and positively impact the relationships with guests,” said Barry Kaplan, Senior Vice President, Organizational Development of UniFocus. “To that end, the course presents content and exercises related to motivation, communication, the use of power, decision making, feedback and coaching, as well as employee involvement and empowerment.”
The Leadership Skills workshop is a four-day on-site classroom style training class. For more information on the class or other training department questions, contact UniFocus at 972-512-5100, or training@unifocus.com.
“The training we offer can be applied across the board within the hospitality industry, and not just for use with our Survey Solutions, Time & Attendance and Labor Management Systems (LMS) tools,” said Kaplan. “As with any tool, it works best in the hands of a well-skilled craftsman. Our leadership courses give managers the skills necessary to go out and build themselves a better business.”
Other upcoming on-site classes include Principles of Labor Management, Managing Change, Managing Conflict and Train-the-Trainer. Online webinar classes on these and other topics will also be offered.
“We’re pleased to expand our training capabilities with dedicated staff and our state-of-the-art training facility located at our headquarters,” said Mark Heymann, President and CEO of UniFocus. “Our team has more than 30 years of experience in hospitality and we’ve already been performing training in conjunction with our products, so now, with our training program, we’re able to impart those years of knowledge to others in the industry.”
